Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre

The Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre (STFSC) is UCLan's multi-million pound, state-of-the-art, purpose built indoor facility on the main University Campus.

The outstanding facilities were recognised ahead of the London 2012 Olympics when UCLan was an official Olympic training camp. Fifteen Pacific countries completed their preparations at UCLan. Athletes from Fiji, Guam, Samoa and Tuvalu competed in athletics, archery, judo, mountain biking, swimming and wrestling at the Games.

STFSC was also a pre-Olympic training base for the USA and Australian table tennis teams.The Centre offers a range of activities including the Fitness Suite, Cardio Zone, two Sports Halls, two Studios and Squash facilities.

UCLan Students' Union sports clubs are based here and STFSC run a variety of instructor led classes.
